​What i learned

Every experience is useful

 

During my career I worked in many different  companies on many positions every position was different from previous. After finished high school I started to work on flea market in New Belgrade. Serbia was going through a difficult period and flea market was center of shopping like is Usce or Delta city now. That was very useful because i learn to be customer oriented. I had more than two hundred customer daily. Most important thing I learned is that no one is same every day. No one is same like hour before and no one will not be same as this moment . I leave flea market after four years because i got married  wife was pregnant and i haven't helth insurance and was not be registered on that position.

 

I started in Politika Newspapers and Magazines ( later FuturaPlus d.o.o ) company on position warehouse clerk. When i started it was really mess, warehouse was being  managed without any computer i even don't want to mention any software solution. I had some basic access knowledge and with friend help I made some database just to cover some basic warehouse operations. Two year later i was in charge for software implementation www.abakus.si software was oracle oriented. Knowing of databases functionality was helpful for this task. Implementation was successful two week before deadlines. During these few months i was working almost 16 hours per day. Feeling of achieved goal is worth for every hour that i spent on the job. Decision to leave Futura plus was made after German concern ''WAZ'' http://www.derwesten.de leave partnership with Stanko Subotic who was owner. After six months they entered into bankruptcy. I learned that quality always comes out and to be leader without title.

 

Trizma was my next stop. Modern company with excellent management was looked like right opportunity for making lifetime job. I got 2 promotions for almost six months. Made great team of 150 employees. Learned that positive attitude and cooperation with subordinates can make a great working environment.  The proudest moment was, at the end of project when all employees are collected funds and gave me instead of present.  That is my greatest achievement. Confirmation that i did professional job there was giving my a straighten for further challenges.

 

DCC Trade, misunderstanding how business should look like opinion that we should order goods  that are sold rather than those that owner likes it one of main reason for such short cooperation. Franchise was sold  few months later. Lesson that in business is many types of employers and communication is very worth.

 

After experience in DCC Trade next stop was Utility company Dimnicar corporation. Started at warehouse clerk position working in software  SQL based ( Phanteon ) it was very easy to improve processes of warehouse functionality. After that start and setup waste oil collecting network with more than three hundred customers. Also was in charge for setup new company Biodizel for waste oil treatment. Expenses control, making procedures controlling was main duties after promotion. After writing more than fifty procedures I started to controlling: fuel, telephones, cars, goods expenses and found many point of money leaking. Instead to be awarded my PC was taken and I figured out that someone from Board of directors deoes not want to stop money leaking. Then i decide to leave company with that kind of business politic. Information that they still use my procedures make me proud. 

 

NCR www.ncr.com, I was preparing almost a year to get Job in NCR. Preparation was included training ( jogging ), English learning and computer skill improving. When i was on interview on question why NCR? My answer was very honest.  I decide to got retirement from your company. And i was meaning exactly that. Company that is 130 years old and wich use new technology was right place for me. I was really happy when i got job in Incident management team. I started with lot of enthusiasm After poor training I decide to make inbound calls procedures, and software manual. After i finish procedures writing which helps rest of employee to learn the job as soon as possible. Suddenly I got fired without any explanation or reason. Just because my superior was afraid of me. And i now that negative selection is truth in multinational  companies. I was very disappointed because work in NCR was achieving of my goal. I had lots of  idea to improving my work place but i didn't got a chance. I was learned lot. Don't be proactive, don't give initiative, don't show that you have brain and most important always be under superior
